Aspirants who look forward for this post are required to own a Post graduation degree in the discipline of Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences/ Biological Sciences from a recognized university or college with not less than 55% aggregate scores.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Excise) Exam Structure:


The questions are from the sections General Knowledge, Arithmetic Ability, General English, Geometry, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, General Studies, Computer. Total marks is 150 and time to attempt it is 120 minutes. There will be negative marking of 1/4th marks.


The Interview will be of 10 marks and the merit will be prepared on the total of written exam and personal interview.
