Qualification Norms:  The applicant applying for the post of SRF must have done M.Tech in Nano Science and Technology or Material Science and Technology or Physics and Chemistry M.Sc. Degree with research experience.


Junior Research Fellow must have done Graduation in Mechanical or Civil or Electrical or Technology or Agricultural Engineering as well as GATE or must be holding PG Degree in Civil or Water Resources & Hydraulic or Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or Technology or the aspirant has to have Master’s Degree in Physics or Mathematics and NET qualified.


The applicant applying for Field Assistant must have the PG Degree in Psychology or Social Work or Sociology or Education or Bengali or Special Education or English language with Computer Proficiency in STM Bengali font style. And must have done research work in data collection of social work.


Fees Charges: The application fee is of Rs.50/- by paying it applicant can obtain the application form from the Information Office of the Jadhavpur University, in working hours only from Mon-Fri.


Emoluments:


SRF: The Senior Research Fellow is liable of getting Rs.18000/-
Junior Research Fellow, The JRF is liable of Getting the fellowship of Rs.16000/- Field Assistant is liable of getting Rs.9000/-


Procedure to Apply: The aspirant has to come along with all the relevant documents at the University at the day of interview.

The Interview is scheduled on 14th August 2013 and timings are given below.


For SRF- School of Materials Science and Nano Technology; Seminar Room, Jadavpur University main campus at 12:00 Noon on 14th August 2013.


For JRF- Conference Room of the Regional Centre, National Afforestation & Eco-Development Board,(behind Hydraulics Laboratory of Mechanical Engg. Deptt, Jadavpur University main campus at 11:00 A.M. on 14th August 2013.


Field Assistant- HEPSN CELL, (Gr. Floor) Opposite of TEQIP Building, J.U. Main Campus at 03:00 P.M. on 14th August 2013.
